According to reports, Solar Energy Co., Ltd. Shandong Lok Sang and supporting businesses will invest 500 million Yuan in Sanyuan County, Shaanxi Province towards the construction of solar water heater facility with an annual output of 1 million units.After completion of the project will be the largest in western China. According to reports, the industrial park will focus on the production of solar water heaters and their digital control devices. The facility is expected to produce 1 million units in two phases when construction is completed in 2012 . The 500,000 units of the first phase are expected to be delivered in early 2011 with an output value of 1.8 Billion Yuan. The construction of this facility wil create 8 000 jobs as well as promoting development in the industry chain supporting the production of solar water heaters. According to reports the rapid implementation of the plan coincides with the national response to support western development strategy.
