SolarTech also offer a optional Maintenance Agreements with all Solar Geyser Installations:
1. Purpose and Objective: To provide maintenance to the solar geyser system of the client.
2. Duration of the Agreement: The Agreement will commence on signature and will continue until
terminated by either party giving the other party ninety days written notice
3. Standard Services: every 12 months the company’s representative shall:
- Inspect System EEC (energy efficiency coefficients)
- Replace insulation* if required
- Inspect and replace fittings* if required
- Fill up and pressure test the anti-freeze on indirect system
- Flush panels on a direct system
- Clean the glass of the collectors
- Replace sacrificial anode* if required
- Replace water filter* if required
- Visual inspection and repair to roof penetrations if required
- Visual inspection and maintenance of all support structures
- Visual inspection and maintenance on duct connections and seals
- Inspect, rotate, realign and replace evacuated tubes* if required
- Inspect PV pump flow regulation if applicable
- Confirm timer settings
- Visual inspection of electric components
- Visual inspection for fluid leaks at pipe connections.
4. The company shall respond to any call out by the client as a result of loss of efficiency of the system,
within 24 hours, free of charge; however the cost and labour of any sundry items that need replacing
shall be for the account of the client
Note: (All replacements components will be at a 10% discount rate as approved by SolSure *)
5. Exclusions:
- This maintenance agreement does not cover non warranty malfunction or damage to the system
- The company is not responsible for any works or alterations done to the system by the client or any third
party.
- Place of Service Delivery The place of service delivery shall be the installation address only.
Monthly Service Fee’s: It is agreed that a monthly fee will be applicable to the maintenance of (Residential
R49.00 ex vat and Commercial R89.00 ex vat) per system per month subject to an 8% (eight percent)
escalation per annum commencing on the anniversary of this agreement.
(No discount in the rate is made in respect to multiple systems unless approved in writing by Solartech head
office)
